an answer to prayer...

as many of you know one of my last prayer requests was to be able to attend my friend Shannon's wedding in June. this is Shannon (right), Missy (left), and me last fall. it's really not a great picture :), but it's the most recent one i have. well... God came through in huge ways!!! a doctor will be down here for the two weeks surrounding june 24 and will be the 2nd medical person filling my place. AND... some one offered to help pay for some of the cost of the flight so that i could be there!!! i will be in the chicago area only a week, but enough to be at the wedding... so praise God!!! I continue to be amazed at how He provides in every way, even when I don't think it's a possibility.

this sweet lady has no family to care for her, so she lives in the hospital and the doctors pitch in to pay for her

 

cutting edge technology... my favorite part about the xrays is that they give them to you immediately and they are still dripping wet

the beginning of our adventurous jungle hike to red cliffs. we can easily relate to kate, jack, sawyer, and the other characters of LOST as we trek about our remote island :)

why i haven't blogged...

this past week my friends audrey and lovelynn have been visiting...this is us in the airport as they arrived. i have just put blogging and emailing on hold trying to cherish every moment they're here. i will post more pictures later about our adventures, but it has been a great blessing to have them here. needless to say, i will be very sad to see them go.
