encouraging passages

these past weeks have shown me over and over that we can make all the plans we want, but God's timing is perfect and good. while we have good ideas, or so we think, when God changes it up we are not to get discouraged or frustrated... whether it appears good or bad... it is an opportunity to glorify Him rather than ourselves.

It is easy to get discouraged and feel like everything is falling apart, but that is exactly what the enemy wants us to do. I may be sad, and that's okay, but I give it up to God and let Him take care of it.

"I know Lord that a person's life is not his own, no one is able to plan his own course. So correct me, Lord, but please be gentle" Jeremiah 10:23-24

"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temoral, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
