a small adventure

i am currently getting ready to go off island for a couple days... for those of you who receive my mass emails... to visit Samuel, the boy who was admitted to the hospital on the mainland for an "infection in his neck" after being hit in the head with a swing. we're not really sure why, but he is supposed to be on vancomycin IV for possibly 2 months which would not only be extremely expensive but also very potent for a 2 year old boy. so i'm going to investigate :) we prayed about it today and decided the best decision is to go to La Ceiba and visit the hospital. i will talk with the doctors (en espanol....Dios ayudame) and try to figure out what the plan is for him. i will be taking a ferry tomorrow morning and returning to Roatan tomorrow night. so it should make for a hectic yet fun day! please pray for safety in traveling and for healing for Samuel.
